Chris Goetze is the new Yard-Man on the Agronomy Staff at Mid-County. Chris has been meeting with customers, prepping equipment, chemicals, and fertilizer in the yard since April 2018. Chris grew up on a crop farm southeast of Cologne in East Union. As a kid, his favorite jobs on the farm were cutting and baling hay and harvesting in the fall. Chris has continued to stay involved with farming by working at equipment dealerships and large crop farms. Chris and his wife have lived in Norwood for almost 30 years where they have raised two children. Chris enjoys fishing year round. He usually baits for panfish, “Sunfish and crappies are my favorites, but I like walleye too.” And when he is not fishing, you may find him at an antique tractor show with his restored Farmall tractors – a 1938 F20 and a 1954 Super H.
