Dan Hanson

Dan Hanson is originally from Glencoe, where he was born and raised. He is married to Alissa, who works at Dahlheimer Beverage. The couple has two children: Katlyn, a freshman in college, and Nick, a junior at GSL. They also have a spoiled Labradoodle dog named Ivy.

I was looking for smaller locally operated company with a focus on customer service and an opportunity to perform different types of jobs from day to day. 

I genuinely like coming to work everyday and finding a variety of jobs that need to be done. One day is not like the next. There is always something new to learn. 

I really like getting out and meeting our co-op members whether they have been with us for generations or they are brand new to us. I’ve had many conversations with a lot of great people. 

As our kids have gotten older, my hobbies have shifted from spending most of my nights and weekends at sporting events to hiding out at our camper on weekends and relaxing with a beer and fishing pole.
