Amanda grew up on hobby farm south of Olivia where she spent most of her time outdoors. Her dad owns a butcher shop and her mom is a GIS specialist for the beet plant in Renville, so she learned about the animal and agricultural industries at a young age. After graduating with an Associates degree in Crop Production Sales and Technologies from NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND, Amanda went on to work for CHS in Park Rapids as an intern for two seasons. After working with a great company like CHS she decided to broaden her horizons and move to NW North Dakota where she was a Sales Agronomist. After being in Tioga for a little over a year Amanda was offered a position much closer to home at Mid County Coop, which she accepted in January 2018. She is excited to meet the farmers around the area as well as further her career in a continuously changing industry. In her free time, Amanda enjoys hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, riding horses, traveling, working with her Australian shepherd/border collie puppy and spending time with family and friends.
